Mother and Son Dance
Uniting, supporting, and creating memories between mothers and their sons
through food, dance, and activities.
The Mother and Son Dance is an annual community event for the families at Yokota Air Base and has been hosted by the Mrs. Sakura Organization since 2014. Mother and son couples enjoy food, dancing, activities, and door prizes centered around a common theme. All proceeds raised by the Mother and Son Dance support the educational scholarships awarded to the winners and runner ups of the annual Sakura Scholarship Pageants.
2016 Hawaiian Luau
The one event your Hawaiian shirt is the perfect fit! Join the Mrs. Sakura Organization as we host the 3rd annual Mother and Son Dance; Hawaiian Luau. Moms and their sons were treated to a tropical paradise photo op, enjoyed the tastes of the pacific, watched and learned how to hula, and a lucky few walked away with door prizes.
2015 Country Night
Pull out the flannel and slip on those boots for the Mrs. Sakura Organization's 2nd annual Mother and Son Dance; Country Night. Moms and their sons enjoyed the country staples of line dancing, a photo op with some western flair, good home cooking, and quality time with each other. Everyone two stepped the night away!
